This group were picked up by the "Iran Shar", an Iranian vessel in internatio- nal waters on 3.6.76 and brought to Si- ngapore. After lengthy discussions with Home Permanent Secretary, UNHCR Repre- sentative was allowed to interview group on board ship. Group allowed to come to land provided that their resettlement in other countries is guaranteed.

This group were reportedly rescued by a tug boat off Borneo coast, brought to Singapore and taken into custody by immigration officials ("Bangkok Post' Bangkok, 12.5.76). No further news.

These groups were picked up by a Thei vessel on 4 and 6 June after their boats had sunk and taken to Singapore. They were allowed to disembark after accep- tance by USA and France assured.
