It wondered why refugees from Vietnam and China were given entirely different

treatment.

SING TAO urged the Government to review the repatriation policy at a time when the local economy was picking up. This could lead to full use being made of some refugees.

SING TAO added that it hoped the Government would not prosecute illegal immigrants who had lived in Hong Kong for some time.
