*La Mr Ronald Atkins (Preston North): To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what is the minimum age for employment in Hong Kong.

While
There is no minimum age for employment in Hong Kong, except that no person under fourteen years of age may be employed in industrial undertakings. No person under the same age may likewise be employed, and no female under eighteen years of age may be employed between 8.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m., in licensed premises in which liquor is sold.
