Woven Shirts from Hong Kong

The Commerce and Industry Department has asked me to inform you that Hong Kong's exports of woven shirts in the month of August amounted to 1.56 million pieces, making a total of 16.55 million for the 1st January to 31st August 1976.

This information indicates that Hong Kong would have to license nearly 2.9 million pieces per month for the rest of the year instead of the figure of 2.6 million stated in the last sentence of para 9 of Hong Kong telegram 892 of 2nd September.
