REQUISITIONING OF SHIPS ORDER 1969

1. Thank you for your letter TSX 2/54 of 30 July about this Order in Council. Our Legal Advisers have confirmed that it remains effective (though, of course, not published).

2. The Order was mentioned briefly at the meeting which your Director of Marine, Mr Fletcher, attended in the Department of Trade on 23 August. Hong Kong Department will be reviewing this Order including considering the question of delegation under Section 3.
