I am sending with this letter two copies of the records of your meeting with the Secretary of State, with Lord Goronwy-Roberts, Mr Rowlands and also of the officials' meeting in Hugh Cortazzi's room. I understand no records were kept of your meeting with Mr Luard or with David Lipsey.

2. I believe that you were able to see the drafts of all these records before you left London and agreed them. If, however, there are any further amendments you would like to make, operhaps you would let me know.
