I do realise that after 21+ hours in an aeroplane you will not feel very much like what now seems to be termed an "in depth" discussion but I hope you will feel as I do that it will be worthwhile making each other's acquaintance. am circularising those Departments in the Foreign Office who have a direct interest in your two spheres and will liaise with Teddy Kidd about calls on other Government Departments.

3. In case this misses you in Hong Kong, I am sending a copy of it to the Hong Kong Government Office and will also liaise directly with them.
