MY VISIT TO HONG KONG
1. I thought I would write separately on the question of accommodation as you might, after adding your thoughts on it, give my longer letter of today's date to Protocol Section, and the question of my accommodation in Hong Kong is perhaps more of a "diplomatic Service" one.

You did mention that you would try to have a word with Charles Drace-Francis about this. As you know, PSD have agreed full subsistence for my trip but, if Charles Drace-Rrancis is prepared to have me, I shall be happy to stay with him. On the other hand I do not wish to be a bind on him (or his wife) nor to be bound to him. What do you think?
