Thank you for your letter of 7th December, 1976, with
a copy of the EAG statement relating to your rather strained conversation with Millie Carroll the Saturday after you saw me.
We did, in fact, reply to a number of questions put by the EAG, as you will see from the attached paper, and we have, subsequently, had to rebut their charge of non-cooperation.
You were relatively lucky to meet the EAG on only one occasion, we have to live with them!
I enjoyed our brief meeting and look forward to seeing you the next time I drop in at the F.C.O., hopefully in April. My kind regards to Tom Duffy.
