Dear Laurence,

Thank you for your letter of 9 March letting me know that Gordon Burrows of the Centre for International Briefing at Farnham Castle will be visiting Hong Kong between 6 and 10 May and again briefly on about 20 May.

Of course I shall be glad to see him if

he cares to make contact with me.

As he is now in the middle of his trip to Colombo (from 7 March for more than four weeks), I am sending a copy of this letter to Anne Stoddart, who might be kind enough to pass a message to him wherever he is in Sri Lanka, saying that I look forward to seeing him and that my office telephone number is 5-95428.
