A short and, I am afraid, rather belated note to thank you for your part in my programme for 18 November. I hope you did not find too much work waiting for you the
following day: my visit to the New Territories would, without you, have been very much less enjoyable and informative.
As I forecast, I did meet briefly with your fellow New Entrant Administrative Officers on the Friday following my return to the office. A very bright lot they all seemed.
