The people of Hong Kong are today perfectly justified

in demanding autonomy and independence.

Our party seeks to achieve democracy and various

forms of freedom for the people. We urge Her Majesty the Queen,

the Prime Minister of Britain and the Governor of Hong Kong

to honour the Human Rights Declaration and help replace the

colonial government in Hong Kong by an autonomous government

with universal suffrage. The following is an outline of our

political, legal, educational and economic policies :

Political :

(2) to

(1) to help form an autonomous government;

advocate the principle of self-determination; (3) to give

Hong Kong people the same rights and freedoms as enjoyed by

people in other countries; (4) to employ local people for

the civil service as far as possible; (5) to introduce

universal suffrage; (6) to end capitalistic monopoly and

exploitation; (7) to promote the benefit of employees and to

aid small businesses; (8) to penalize any one acting against

public interests (e.g. loan sharks, monopolists, speculators

etc.); (9) to introduce compulsory physical training and

promote sports and recreational activities; (10) to protect

public morals by a stricter censorship over the communication

media; (11) to stress the individual's obligations to society;

(12) to work for a strong central government.
