Honourable Members will be asked to advise whether:

(a) a grant should be made to the Mass Transit Railway Corporation, if established, of the site indicated by a thick dark line on the annexed plan to be developed as a Mass Transit Railway depot and as a housing estate on the general conditions set out in paragraph 6;

(b) the approach to the public relations aspects of the

proposed grants to the Mass Transit Railway Cor- poration set out in paragraphs 8 and 9 of the memo- randum should be adopted.

(The Director of Public Works (Acting) (Mr W. C. BELL), the Chairman (designate), Mass Transit Railway Corporation (Mr N.S. THOMPSON), the Principal Government Town Planner (Mr A. F. MEYERS) and the Secretary for the Environment (Acting) (Mr G. BARNES) will attend before the Council for the discussion of this item).
