COMPANY LAW IN HONG KONG

The Companies Law Revision Committee submitted reports in 1971 and 1973. Their recommendations were accepted in principle by the Government of Hong Kong. Legislation to give effect to the Committee's recommendations is being enacted in stages. An Ordinance to give effect to the recommendations on

disclosure and company accounts was enacted in December 1974

and will come into force in October 1975.
