7. That your Petitioner joined the Royal Hong Kong Police

Force on the 12th day of November, 1972 and passed out from

the Police Training School on the 9th day of June, 1973. He

was then posted to the uniform branch in the Yuen Long

Police Station earning a monthly salary of $1,000.00.

That your Petitioner is single and was living with his

family at the above-mentioned address prior to his arrest.

9. That your Petitioner is a young man of good character

and has no previous conviction save the aforesaid murder

conviction.

10.

That your Petitioner has served the public of this

Colony as a police constable.

11.

That your Petitioner now wishes to continue to live

and will try his utmost to lead a new life as a responsible

citizen when he is released and therefore prays that the

sentence of death passed on him will not be executed.

And your Petitioner will ever pray.
