The other person wearing a cap in SC "D" 1-9 holding the bank

manager is No.1. He again appears in photographs No.30-43. None of the

hooded men were identified.

It may, perhaps, be of some relevance and assistance to Your

Excellency in assessing the individuals concerned if I were to break down

the 28 counts and indicate the number of robberies on which each was

indicted.

There were:

1 Murder

12 Robberies

3 Unlawful Wounding

2 Assaults occasioning actual bodily harm

4 False imprisonment (taking hostage)

4 Shooting with intent to do grievous bodily harm

1 Possession Arms

1 Possession of Ammunition.

The four shooting counts relate to the time the murder was

committed; and the arms and ammunition counts concerned the revolvers

and ammunition found in the house of the 8th accused.

No.1 was charged on 11 counts of robbery.

No.2 was charged on. 9 counts of robbery.

No.3 was charged on 7 counts of robbery.

No.4 was charged on 4 punts of robbery.

No.5 was charged on 8 counts of robbery.

No.6 was charged on 8 counts of robbery.

No.7 was charged on 9 counts of robbery.
