Mr Pun's letter and to let us know the outcome of his petition to the Governor. They have sent an interim reply saying that the petition is still under consideration; that, in view of the allegations of corruption made by Mr Pun, a copy of the petition has been sent to the Independent Commission against Corruption (ICAC); and that they are awaiting a report by the ICAC before considering further action, which may involve prosecuting Mr Pun for criminal libel. We have confined replies to MPs letters to the effect that Mr Pun's petition is still under consideration. He will know that that is what we are saying.

In the circumstances I do not think it necessary for Sir Vincent Evans to respond to Mr Pun's letter.
