Your letter 13th February refers. I plan to London and will arrive there late afternoon 3rd March, for a stay of two or three days.
I expect to be able to book in at the Great Western Royal Hotel. Paddington. W.2. In the event of a strike this makes it easy to wait for a train to leave.
I will telephone you to confirm my arrival and to fix the time for our meeting, to suit your convenience as 1 know you must be kept busy these days and my time is my own.

I have read the latest press reports of the Peter Godber hearing and have gathered that the Crown's case is going fairly well. I appreciate the problems thereto and that much must rest on circumstantial evidence. Reminds me of the past when I usually sat near to observe and help with comments, to help carry the case over rough ground:
