Dear Lord Goronwy-Roberts,
ce. News Dept
GIPD.
I will be in London for a week in early December, and I would⚫ be most grateful if you could spare some time for an interview.
Mr. Galownikh
Since your last visit to Hongkong there have been a number of developments that, I feel, you may care to comment upon.
These include the development of housing, education and social welfare plans in the present economic situation which the Colony is now facing, the consideration of constitutional changes such as further public representation within the Legislative Council and the diversifiction of Hongkong's sterling reserves into other currencies.
Perhaps you may also care to discuss the present and future trading relationships between Hongkong and Britain and the Common Market countries.
I will be in London from approximately December 2 until December 12, and would be very glad to see you at any time. I can be contacted through Mr Jim Nicoll, Deputy Foreign Editor, The Daily Express, London, telephone 01-353 8000.
