DEFENCE COSTS
Report of the Joint Working Party on the Froposal to release .O.D. occupied land at R.A.F. Kai Tak
and Victoria Barracks, Hong Kong
The Joint Working Farty, established under the Heads of Agreement initialled on 1st November, 1975 by the Minister of State for Defence, the Right Honourable William Rodgers M.P. and the Governor of Hong Kong, Sir Murray MacLehose, to determine the implementation of arrangements to release land at present occupied by the R.A.F. at Kai Tak and by the Army at Victoria Barracks, has now completed its report. Three copies are being sent today by R.A.F. courier and I should be grateful if you would arrange distribution as marked.
2.
Twenty additional copies are being delivered by the same courier to AUS(GS) in the Ministry of Defence.
3. The report will be considered by the Executive Council and the unofficial members of the Finance Committee of the Legislative Council on the 2nd December, 1975.
