I am glad to give you a similar assurance that everything possible will be done here to execute our part of the programme as quickly as possible in order to meet the overall deadlines. I have given instructions accordingly and Robert Andrew is holding a meeting today with those concerned, including the Treasury and Property Services Agency.
I agree that it would be helpful if the working party were to set target dates for the main stages of the operation. We shall be sending representatives from London to assist the military staff on the spot and I have asked to be kept informed personally of the working party's progress.
