Dear Murray
149
Thank you for your letter of 11th April about the minutes of our meeting with Bill Rodgers on 9th April. We have assumed that your letter was intended for me, although you appear in a moment of aberration to have addressed it to Arthur Thorp!
2.
I think that the last sentence of paragraph 3 of David Young's record of the meeting does, in fact, accurately imply the point that you were making; but I agree that the sentence was perhaps drafted too elliptically, and I am circulating your letter to all those who had copies of the record in order that they may be quite clear about the logical sequence of the argument.
3. I should also mention that the reference to "1974 survey prices" in line 8 of paragraph 5 of the record should be amended to read "1975/76 Estimates prices".
Vous env
Att
A. F. HOCKADAY.
