Dring of CRE4 had a word with you recently about the £0.5 million grant for the Hong Kong Polytechnic and wrote to us that the papers were being prepared to present to the Overseas Development Projects Committee to satisfy it that the funds were being spent correctly. I take it from this that there is no question of the grant, either for the Polytechnic or the Technical Institutes, being reduced. I would be grateful for confirmation.
