Thank you for your letter HKK9/3 dated March 1975 enclosing a copy of the second draft of the projects committee submission in respect of the grant to the Hong Kong Polytechnic.
2. The submission in its present form has Gordon Hunting's strong support. There are one or two minor drafting amendments needed which you have no doubt picked up and it may be helpful if I list them: -
para 5:
last sentence
para 11: line 2
"8,000" should be substituted for "68,000"
"technician" should be
substituted for "technical"
3.
para 13: line 6
para 22: line 6
substitute "confer" for "confering"
substitute "400,000" for "40,000"
Keith Legg, the Director designate of the Polytechnic, leaves for Hong Kong on 26 April and will be in TETOC probably on 14/15 April. Unfortunately, Gordon Hunting will then be in the Middle East but I hope that it will be possible to arrange for Legg to meet you and your colleagues before his departure for Hong Kong.
