Dear Jim: I am most grateful for your letter of 7th August on the subject of the discussion you had with representatives of the
International Committee on the subject of Hong Kong.
As you know, I accepted Tom McNally's submission that this letter, and others like it, ought not to be included in those we printed in the Party's Annual Report. I send you herewith a copy of a letter I have sent to Jenny Little on this point.
I shall look forward to hearing from you further on the matters on which you have been good enough to promise more information later.
