This part of Nathan Road is brilliant with neon signs and would be packed with people as the Royal Party drives down.
Procession would include lion dancing and martial arts displays; also parties of school children, as well as armed services bands and marching units.
At the end of the procession the Royal Party would drive down the remainder of the procession route.
