Factory
This factory, established in 1968 with a capital of HK$500,000, occupies 2 floors totalling about 13,000 sq. ft. in area in a 7-storey flatted factory building. It manufactures foam rubber and foamed plastics which are used for upholstery, mattresses and pillows, interlinings for garments, and brassieres, etc. The .products, valued at about. HK$4,000,000 per annum, are sold to local
furniture and garment makers.
Batch processing is adopted in this factory.

A meal subsidy at $2.20 per day per person is paid in addition to the wages. Those who work a full month without absence or leave are paid a good attendance bonus equivalent to 2 days' wages. A further bonus equivalent to one month's wages is payable at the end of each lunar year (in late January or early February
