Sir Murray MacLehose will be seeing Mr Curle on 25 June. The Palace have apparently agreed in principle to the Hong Kong visit, though not yet to any announcement. The outstanding question is how this can be fitted in with the Japanese visit. At present it seems likely that there may be room for no more than a two-day visit from 3-5 May 1975. The Governor thinks the two clear days would be enough. But if this was further cut into by travelling time, he would think it insufficient. He will be discussing all

this further with Mr Curle.
