You wrote to Jim Callaghan on 15 November enclosing a letter you had received from your constituent, Mr. D.J. Jenkins of 25 Meredyth Road, Barnes, 3W13. Mr. Jenkins was seeking an explanation of why he was refused permission to enter Hong Kong when he arrived at Kai Tak airport on 7 November.
I have referred this matter to the Colonial Secretary in Hong Kong, and I shall write to you again as soon as I have received his reply.
Yours
Foronny.
