Clause 8: Where land is resumed and it

put to any profitable use without the land which has been resumed, the Governor, if so satisfied, may make

a resumption order in respect of that other land.

Clause 9: Between the date of publication

in the Gazette of an order for resumption of land or

creation of an easement and the date on which the land

reverts or the easement is created, the Director may,

without giving notice, enter upon the land affected

by the order and any adjoining land for certain

limited purposes set out in this clause.

Clause 10: The Governor may make orders relatin

to street closures or alterations and foreshore and

seabed works and reclamation. Public and private rights

over any street, Crown foreshore or seabed may be

extinguished, modified or restricted by the Governor's

order.
