COMMISTE ON ON MACCHIC DRUGS: 26TH GUSSION
Please refer to your letter A 74 1/90/2 of 27 October to Nigel Wenban-Smith who is at present in Rome.
We and Hong Kong and Indian Ocean Department agree with your views that someone from Hong Long should be in the party. e should there- fore be happy if you would approach Rolph as you did last year. (By the way George has now left the Colonial Secretariat in Hong Kong and his replacement is C Druce-Francis). As Rolph is due to retire early next year we would hope, subject to your views, that Rolph's successor, if he has been decided and is available, would be able to go to Geneva in his stead.
