If the reference to a hydrofoil ferry is meant to infer that drugs in quantity are smuggled into Hong Kong from Macao by hydrofoil, then it is not correct. There is no evidence to suggest that the hydrofoil services from Macao are part of the chain in the illicit traffic.

Third sentence should read - 'Between 1946 and 1969, approximately 59,000 different people were convicted of narcotics offences, a large number of them several times'.

In the last sentence, the 349 Kgs of heroin refers to heroin products of varying quality (mostly much adulterated - No.3) and not to the pure heroin content of all the seizures made.
