I am also told "that Permit can be terminated by three months' notice". This is so, but this right is hardly ever exercised. Is it a wonder that I should feel bullied ? Others, such as pigbreeders, on Permit are compensated, then why not me? Is this not discrimination?
A final point: Govt.'s discussion with the Heung Yee Kuk in 1968 does not necessary mean that this was made known to all and sundry. Furthermore, it is evidence of discrimination when such quarries as "TAI HING" at Fo Tan and "H.K. Quarry" at Tai WorPing are allowed to continue opperating unmolested. Sir, I implore you to see justice and act on my behalf. If I must go, then at least compensate me and my family.
