Amend the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice

and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

Short title.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Prevention of

Bribery (Amendment) Ordinance 1974.

Amendment of

section 2. (Cap. 201.)

2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended in

subsection (1) by

(a) inserting after the definition of "child" the following

-

""Commissioner" means the person appointed by

the Governor to be in charge of the

Commission Against Corruption

and includes the Deputy Commissioner;";

(b) deleting the definition of "Director";

(c) inserting after the definition of "entertainment"

the following

""investigating officer" means any person

authorized by the Commissioner to exercise

the powers of an investigating officer under

this Ordinance;",
