Dear sir,

as members of the Swedish section of Amnesty International,

we, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the 117 Southvietnamese refugees, who had been sent back from Hong Kong, and at once been put

into the Con Son prison. We feel that the British Government, being responsible for the Hong Kong administration, has to use all its authority,

to urge that the Saigon Government may set those Beople free immediately, to give them the mild treatment which had been granted in advance, while x

waiting for the trial,

even to insist upon investigation of the state of things in that prison,

which accusations being the reasons for

and to get knowledge about

the 117's imprisonment.
