There were reports in the Press recently- that 119 draft resisters were deported from Hongkong to Saigon and thence to Con Son. understand that the Hongkong and British governments received firm assurances from the Saigon government that the refugees would not be treated harshly.
We would be interested to know what action the British government has taken to see that this promise has been kept and would appreciate your comments on this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Jach Azhins
