As a member of Amnesty International I beg to call your attention to the care of the 119 South Vietnamese refugees in Hong Kong (14 of whom under 15 years of age) who were deported to South Vietnam on June 16 on the promise of the South Vietnamese government that they would be humanely treated:
Instead they have been sent to Con Son prison
where the "biger cages are in use.
Since the British Government is responsible for the administration of Hong Kong I appeal to you to use its influence to ensure that the South Vietnames government fulfils its humonitarian proncise to These infurtunate refugees 6m as regards their
mcarceration and the grounds on which they are to be brought to trial.
