Un June 17 of this year 118 South Vietnamese citizens were deported from Hongong to Saigon on board two chartered South Vietnamese aircraft sent by the Daigon Government.

We are informed that these 113 persons are now detained in Con Son prison awaiting trial. We are deeply concerned about the plight of these unfortunate people and urge you to set them free.We recall that you promised the British and Hongkong Governments that these 118 would not receive harsh treatment. It is difficult to understand therefore why they have been detained in Con Son where we know there are tiger cages.

We should be grateful if you would send us further information regarding these 118 as soon as possible."e wish to know for what they are being charged and when the trials are due to begin. We shall follow developments for these 118 persons with close attention.
