ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FROM VIETNAM

In your letter of 8 July you asked me to provide a draft passage for incorporation in a reply from the Under-Secretary of State for the Royal Navy to a letter he had received from an old friend.

As you may know, there was a written Parliamentary question on this subject on 10 July. I think it would be as well Lo follow the line taken in the answer to that Question. The attached draft is accordingly based on it, and I hope that your Hinister will find it acceptable.
