Mr Stuart
thanks incorporated in note for
Deportation under the UK Immigration Act
Record.
An illegal immigrant is not usually deported to
the place from whence he came in. The guide lines
are that he would be deported to the country of which
he is a national. This is however subject to the
Appeal against destination (set up under the Appeals
System under the Immigration Act) whereby if the
immigrant can show the adjudicator that he is
acceptable to another country, then he will be
allowed to go to that country.
