DEPORTATION OF LEUNG PAK-KIN FROM HONG KONG

1.

Leung Pak-kin is a South Vietnamese deserter who entered Hong Kong illegally and has now been issued with a deportation order. The Hong Kong Government are proposing to send him back to Saigon but Leung wishes to go to Taiwan and we have received representations from Amnesty and Justice about this case (see Mr Stuart's note for the record attached).
