RESIGNATION OF MR T BEDFORD

In his letter to you of 4 April Alan Scott has asked what "terminates his appointment" means in the context of Trevor Bedford's resignation (your letter of 25 March refers).

In the circumstances of his resignation,
Mr Bedford has automatically forfeited his pension rights; Pensions Branch of ODM need to know this. member of HMOCS, OMD of ODM should be aware of his resignation.

As a
"Terminate his appointment" merely means in this case that all the appropriate departments are informed.
