Conditions of Appointment for the office of Commission Against Corruption Officer
1. Qualifications and
experience for
appointment :
(Non-pensionable)
Candidates should :
(i)
preferably be over 25 years of age;
(ii) have EITHER :
(a) a degree from a Hong Kong or
British University or equivalent;
OR
(b) a good gencral education and with proven experience in recognised methods of detection, surveillance and intelligence work or have an acceptable level of experience in one or more of the following fields :
public administration, business management, accountancy, law,
taxation, education, architecture, electronics, engineering,
company secretaryship, press and public relations, real estate development, transportation,
shipping, the construction
industry, social welfare,
medicine, orginization and methods.
Experience in Police or other methods of detection, surveillance and intelligence work would be an advantage.
2. Duties :
(i)
Operations Branch
Principal assistant to Senior Commission Against Corruption Officer in one or more of the
following operational Sub-Divisions:
(a) Investigation;
(b) Surveillance;
(c) Research;
(a) Intelligence;
(e) Civil processing;
(f) Criminal processing;
(g) Security;
(h) Targets;
