Confirming my telephone call with your mother-in-law, I have spoken to the Chief Passport Officer, Mr M G Dixon at Clive Ilouse, Petty France. He suggested that, if you would ring his secretary (01-222-8010 ext. 41) to fix an appointment, either Mr Dixon or the Deputy Chief Passport Officer, Mr Cave, would deal with your passports personally. I explained what I knew of the problem, and he said that there should not be too much difficulty in getting things through in time.
