Thank you for your letter of the 27th November.

We have spoken to both Mr. French and Mr. Neligan regarding the second paragraph of your letter. We are advised that Mr. French would like to prosecute on behalf of the Crown. At the time of writing to you we are still awaiting a reply from Mr. Neligan.

We have spoken to Mr. French with regard to Mr. Prendergast being present. Counsel said that if Mr. Prendergast was available and it was not inconvenient, he would like him to be in Court, although his attendance is not necessary. However we leave the matter to Mr. Prendergast's own committments and discretion.
