Rye in the County of East Sussex wife of Peter Fitzroy
Godber make Oath and say as follows:-
1. On the 9th day of October 1974 I was returning
to my home after visiting my husband the said Peter
Fitzroy Godber at H.M. Prison Pentonville, London.
In the course of the journey home I encountered Robert
James Irvine the Superintendent in the Royal Hong Kong
Police Force who swore an affidavit in these
proceedings on the 18th day of May 1974 and who is
personally well known to me.
2. I had a conversation with the said Robert James
Irvine in Leicester Square Underground Station, London.
3. As a result of that conversation I immediately
contacted my husband's legal advisers and at their
request I then prepared that day a detailed note
of what occurred during that meeting with the said
Robert James Irvine. The said note is now produced
to me and marked "J.G.1." The said note is in my own
handwriting and the contents thereof are true.
