Government of Hong Kong - Godber Extradition

Further to our letter of the 30th May, our firm's Bankers are having difficulty with the figures referred to in the exhibits marked M, N and O of the Affidavits of A.J. Nutten, R.J. Irvine and N. Maloney.

They have asked us if we could supply better copies and a breakdown of the figures. On going through the figures we are not sure of the amounts of the foreign currencies as there appears to be two decimal points in each sum.

Could we therefore suggest that someone in Hong Kong

deal with the conversion rates.

Counsel has asked that the English equivalents be obtained of those figures underlined. The figures should be converted at the rates of exchange in force on the dates appearing on each page or beside each figure.

The figures will be needed in evidence and therefore it would best be done through the National Bank in Hong Kong.
