Godber, Extradition

Further to our letter of the 2nd July we attended on the 1st August before the learned Magistrate at Bow Street. Despite objection by Counsel instructed on behalf of the Government of Hong Kong, the learned Magistrate agreed to adjourn the extradition proceedings until the 7th October next.

He stated in open Court that he would not entertain any further applications and the hearing must take place on the new date.

In the meantime we will await hearing from you with the conversion rates as requested by us in our letter of the 17th June last.
