INVESTIGATION INTO CORRUPTION IN HONG KONG

I submit a draft reply to Mr Ray Carter's written question

for answer on 4 February asking the Secretary of State when he

expects an investigation into corruption, now taking place in

Hong Kong, to be completed; and to whom the report will be handed.

Mr Youde and the Governor of Hong Kong have agreed.
