P.F. GODBER

The Governor has asked me to reply to your letter

reference TXH 16/4 dated 5th December 1973.

We have reconsidered the proposal to deprive

Godber of his Queen's Police and Colonial Police medals in the light of your helpful and cogent arguments. In particular, we were influenced by the considerations put forward in

X paragraph 5 of your letter.

We have decided, in accordance with your advice, that we should not now press for the deprivation of these medals.

I am most grateful to you for your help over this awkward problem.

conely,

Jamon and Rohuts
